Confirming Your Income and Taxes Paid Information
The Department of Education MAY require the information you supplied on your application to be confirmed. You can do this in one of three ways.
Confirming your Information with the Internal Revenue Service
Direct Data Exchange
By providing your signature AND consent on your application, your and/or your parent’s tax return information will automatically be imported into the application.
OR
You can go directly to the Internal Revenue Service website to request an official tax return transcript to supply to the Financial Aid Office.
OR
Signed/Dated copy of your/your parent’s federal tax return
You may provide, via IDOC, a signed/dated copy of your/ your parent’s federal income tax return including all pages, schedules and associated W-2 forms.
