Outdoor Programs and the Dartmouth Outing Club sponsor numerous trips, trainings, and workshops throughout the year, so that every Dartmouth student can enjoy the woods, trails, mountains, and waterways that nestle campus and extend for many miles beyond. Thanks to support from the President's Office, aid that covers the expense of many of these programs is available to anyone who receives financial aid from the College. Visit their webpage here for more information. And be sure to check back regularly to see what other free opportunities Outdoor Programs is offering.
Need gear? Outdoor Programs offers a variety of outdoor equipment, such as backpacks, sleeping bags, hiking boots, snowshoes, and tents – all for free, to all undergraduate students. Rental information can be found here.
