The food shelf is founded and managed by Dominique Walton from the Undergraduate Deans Office. Find free clothing - including winter gear - at no cost. 

The thrift store exists to provide students with access to sustainable (and awesome) clothing, outdoor gear, books, and more. We take donated items from across campus to help reduce the massive amount of clothing waste that our community produces each year at move-out time.

Visit the Free Market Thirft Store in the basement of North Massachusetts Hall. 

The First-Generation Office is here to support all of Dartmouth's first-generation college students with academics, social belonging, and professional development. We spearhead several initiatives, including the First-Year Summer Enrichment Program (FYSEP) and the Prepare to Launch Program (PLP), which is currently in development.

Commitment to Care is Dartmouth’s new strategic plan for supporting student mental health and well-being. Review the website to learn about the revised Time Away for Medical Reasons (TAMR) Policy, elimination of overnight observation fees for overnight stays related to intoxication or any other health-related issues, and other ways Dartmouth is centering well-being in all that we do. 

All students belong to one of Dartmouth’s six House Communities. Each of these Houses provide a range of free resources to members. These include termly community dinners, local trips (like apple picking, escape rooms, cooking classes, hikes, and local theater), yearly excursions (such as to NYC for a Broadway show and museum tour, Boston for a Bruins game or Freedom trail tour), weekly craft or wellness events, intramural competitions, House-themed sweatshirts, pennants, and other swag, and more.
